Emily and Allison had their graduations from 6th grade and kindergarten. Emily had a fabulous year she recieved the Presidential Academic Award and also an award from the Rotary club for Citizenship. We are so proud of her. She will be going to seventh grade in a few weeks and we are not excited for that. Allison made it through kindergarten and was able to "graduate". Thank goodness. Most of us are excited for her to go to first grade and be at school all day. Jillo however is not excited about her bestfriend leaving her.

That's right folks, first day of school for us was July 6th.

I'd like to say that there were no tears shed, but I'd be lying.

It was Allison's first day of Kindergarten. She has Mrs. Thompson.

Allie was a champ. She was so excited to go to school. She could hardly wait until 11:30.

Jillian thinks that she is big enough to be at school.

Everything that Allie did, she had to do also.

Since we moved, the kids all go to a brand new school.

It is so clean and nice.

Emily is in the 6th grade. Thomas is in 2nd grade.

Allie is in Kindergarten.

4th of July

We had such a wonderful weekend celebrating this great country we live in. We celebrated the actual 4th at grandma's house with the Borgquists and Morans. It was so fun to see everyone. We missed Aunt DeAnn, but loved seeing Erika.

Our neighborhood does a 4th of July block party every year. I guess because people had plans on the Fourth some of the neighbors got together for a 3rd of July party. The kids got to decorate their bikes and have a little bike parade. It was really cute.

we have survived another week with only minor injury. (or shall i say grandma and grandpa and their house survived.) jillian took a spill on the sports court and is now sporting a terrible scab on her nose. the bad part is she is a picker and can't stand the thing on her nose. hopefully she doesn't scar.

thomas had his last baseball game yesterday. he had a great season with the d backs. chris was able to help coach. it was fun seeing him out there with all of the kids. thomas' coach was an awesome guy. he had so much enthusiasm, especially for a coach pitch team.

we are counting down the days until our big move. getting very excited. we have visited our new ward twice and are amazed at the amount of kids there. i think that there are more kids in their primary than we had members in our ward.

i was able to upload a few pictures prior to the picasa episode. fortunately they are of our new house. escrow should close in the next couple of weeks. it is a brand spankin new house. we will be the first to ever live in it. i will post some before and afters of the house. basically all we have to do is move in. the walls are all white, so we are going to throw on some paint and personalize it a bit. it is an awesome house with a great yard. we are very excited and can't wait to move in.

i just spent the last 30 minutes uploading some 672 pictures off of my camera card. pictures of everything that has happened this spring. easter, houses, kids singing in school, playing soccer, a trip to the river. jillian with various liquids in her hair. messes with eggs. somehow they are now all gone. i am crying. real tears. darn you picasa. darn you.

last saturday allie turned 5. she wanted to have a princess tea party. everything was planned and set up ready to go and the birthday girl got sick. she had a headache and a fever and fell asleep before her party and did not want to get up. it was the saddest day ever. for a month she would ask how many sleeps until her party. lucky for us the Tylenol kicked in and she had a blast with her friends. good thing we had emily here to entertain them. i told the moms the wrong time to pick up, so had we had 5 four and five year olds for an extra 1 1/2. good times. by the end of the party allie was beat. lucky for thomas and me we ended up getting allie's illness and all three of us were out of commission for the whole week. i am not exaggerating when i say i have never been so sick in my entire life. today is the first day that i feel half way normal.

a funny story about the birthday. when one of the moms called to say that her daughter was coming to the party she said a christmas tea party how fun. i thought that she said christmas not princess, but didn't know if it was my phone. sure enough her husband comes with the little girl to the party. she is dressed in her christmas dress. her dad says after about 20 minutes, this is a princess party, not christmas. right. they had even wrapped the present in christmas paper. the poor little girl wanted to wear her cinderella dress and her mom kept telling her no, it wasn't a princess party. then she shows up and sees all of the princesses.

to the eastside. we've finally got our piece of the pie. well, not really, we've just run out of room.
eight years ago we happened upon an open house and found this little gem. eight years ago we had one two year old. this house seemed like a mansion. now eight years, three kids and a dog later, we have filled it to capacity. we aren't in a huge hurry to leave, but if you know anyone that is looking to buy in a fabulous area, great schools and great ward, let us know. (remember, with the new stimulus plan you could somehow figure out how to get the house for free!!!)

This picture took place just last week. We were making frosting to decorate sugar cookies with Lily and Jane. Allie loves to help me cook and is always asking for a beater. Jillian knows a good thing when she sees it, so now she is up on the counter waiting her turn for the beater, spoon, or bowl. Kids catch on quick! (btw, the cookies turned out great and our valentine's craft was even better.)

Christmas came and went. We had an awesome time in Wyoming with all of the family and grandma and grandpa. The kids loved the snow. For some reason I didn't take any pictures. I did take some video though. A quick update of the past month and a half:

Emily has had the never ending soccer season. She has been on an awesome team for a few seasons now. They recently got invited to play in the Commissioner's Cup and made it through the finals all the way to the championship game! Unfortunately, they lost to a really good team from Orange. Everyone was impressed with her team, and their second place medals are great. They didn't have any substitute players and were playing against teams with up to 4 subs. They played their hearts out.

Thomas finally lost one of his little nubby top teeth. He grinds his teeth and has basically ground his baby teeth down to nothing.

Allie started ballet again. She is so excited because her cousin and best friend (that's what she calls her) Lily is in her class. They are so cute together.

Thomas lost a tooth and Jillian finally found one.

15 1/2 months old and we finally have our first tooth. Just one. Don't want to rush things. Jillian has turned into a climber. She moves chairs, benches, anything to get to what she wants. Nothing is safe. She used to love to dance on the table but now has moved on to bigger and better things like the island.

thomas turned 7 last sunday. i felt kinda of bad because i didn't have his birthday all planned out and then we had the fire and had to leave for a few days. when they finally went back to school, there were only a few days left in the week and we were going to have his party on friday.
what to do, what to do? well, get a ton of legos and throw them on a tarp at the park. most awesome party ever. the boys loved just building and really didn't want to do any of the contest we had planned. i made the most amazing lego cake, but didn't get any pictures. trust me, it was perfect!!! (right)

Going Home

The evacuations were finally lifted last night. We decided to wait until this morning to head home. Our house is fine, along with Chris' parents, Jon and Teresa Conk, Scott and Dawn Conk, and Matt and Brooke Flake. Unfortunately as many of you have heard, Chris' Aunt Dori and Uncle Chuck lost their home. It is probably the saddest thing that has ever happened. If any of you have ever had the honor to meet these two outstanding people, you have been blessed. They are the two most generous, loving, caring people you could ever meet. Chuck is bishop in his ward. Even though he knew his house was burning he was still reaching out trying to contact people and make sure everyone was safe. He was up at 5:30 yesterday morning carrying on with his duties. What a faithful servant. Please keep them in your prayers. Thank you for your calls and concern. We are totally fine. We had plenty of time to grab some things from our house and from Chris' parents house. It is funny how little material things mean to you when it comes down to it. I am so thankful for my family and my especially my husband. I am so thankful for our gospel. I love the way that everyone pulled together. Calling and making sure that everyone was okay and had a place to stay. Thank you to Steve and Carol for opening up their beautiful ( and very dangerous home for a grabby one year old) to us. Thank you Gloria for the groceries. You don't know how much your hospitality meant to this shaken little family. Please remember the Flake Family in you prayers.

As many of you have heard we had a monster firestorm yesterday. We are still under manditory evacuations. As far as we know our house is okay, along with Bill and Sue, Matt and Brooke, Jon and Teresa, and Dawn and Scott. We will let you know if anything changes. Right now we are staying in Dana Point. Brooke is suppose to be on her way with her kids and hopefully Dori. Keep us in your prayers.

monday we made caramel apples for family night. the kids love unwrapping the caramels. i love for them to help because it is my least favorite job. i think that only like because they eat every other caramel they unwrap. what does jillo do while we make caramel apples? internets of course. she is obsessed with the computer. climbs up on the desk whenever you turn your back.

thomas was awarded the principal's award last week. pretty awesome. he also has been a scoring machine in soccer. scoring the only goals his team has. emily had about 20 shots but never got one in. so close. allie has been loving/hating school. loves it when she is there, hates getting there. jills had to have 4 shots yesterday. today is a fun day. so whiny.

week in review

another week has passed. how does it go so fast? i feel a lot like jills does in the picture. just tired. the secon d week of school went off without a hitch, mostly. thoms was sick on monday, had to go to the doctor because of his asthma. he was worried about coughung at school. he thought that his teacher would get mad. his teacher is super nice, not that any teacher would getr mad at a kid for coughing. his soccer is down to one practice a week!!! he had a game friday against our friend's team. he played well, but they still lost. next time the spiders will be victorious. ems team ruled on saturday. she is being more aggressive and even trying to shoot some goals. one day she will score! back to school night was thursday. met their teachers. loved both of them. excited for the year. allie likes "teeny tots" now. she got in trouble because she was "too tired" to help clean up. actually the teacher said that none of the kids were helping and the parents needed to talk to them about it. jills is taking more and more steps. she will take about four steps and then just throw herself towards the intended target. doesn't matter if you are within arms reach or not. she has lots of bumps and bruises to show for it. kids are excited because grandma koral is coming for jills birthday on sunday. allie wasn't too excited at first, mostly because it was the day she got in trouble at school. i asked her why she didn't want grandma to visit. she said because she smells. awesome. what does she smell like? well not just her but her house and it smells like candy and snow. true, it does smell like candy and snow, whats not to like about that? thomas lost another tooth. it came out at church last sunday. he was mad because the tooth fairy didn't come, well he did he just put the money under the top bunk pillow. good recovery tooth fairy. works everytime.

week in review

what a busy week. first off we celebrated labor day at aunt dori's house. as always a wonderful time was had by all. the best beans ever!!! (not to mention, sorry mother kendig, probably the best hamburger too). too bad we had to cut the party short because, boo hoo, school was starting in the morning. it was also ems bday.(see earlier post for photo montage through the ten years of ems life.)
em and thomas started on tuesday. em is in the 5th grade and has mrs. woinarowicz. (i call her mrs. w.) thomas has mrs. leard. both kiddos seemed very happy with their teachers.

allie started school on wednesday. she was not very happy to be going to teeny tots. she really liked her year at methodist. we did also, but love tiny tots and wanted her to have a go with mrs. shelly and the other lovely ladies there. em and thomas both had mrs. shelly and loved her. she went and really liked it. she has a little friend keely and wants to go back next week.
thomas finally lost a tooth!!! he was really nervous about starting 1st grade with all of his teeth. I guess this really didn't happen this week. we were at disneyland for a final summer hurrah, standing in line at splash mountain. i asked him to let me wiggle the tooth. it was barely hanging on, i gave it a little twist and it was out. he was so happy. wasn't too happy about the gold coin the tooth fairy left. most kids get like five dollars he tells me. i told him that gold was $800 an ounce so really it was worth more than a dollar. he bought it.

jills has been standing and taking steps. she just might be walking before she turns one. she climbs up everything. oh, right now she is stuck on the table. she loves the twenty pound bag of dog kibble (yes, i call it kibble, it sounds better saying she loves eating dog kibble rather than dog food) that daddy brought home for rex. she thinks it is her own personal bag of snacks and helps herself to it several times a day.

finishing off the week with chris' visit to the "wart dr." and him getting very angry with her because she doesn't know how to get rid of his warts and she kept calling him mr. kendig. me going to the doctor because my feet don't work so well and my doctor had no idea what is wrong with them. i can only wear flips flops.

soccer offically starts tomorrow and so no more weekend trips to p.s. too bad because we had a glorious weekend there over labor day. it even rained one day.

ten short years ago today our sweet, sweet girl was born. you always hear about enjoying it because it goes so fast. i can remember her being born just as if it happened today. she is the sweetest girl on earth. she is so kind and good to everyone. everyone always says they wish that they could have an emily. no way no how are we going to give her away. she is such a helper, a good big sister and friend. she can't stand to see any hurt or sad. emily is so smart, excells at the piano and soccer. she does what ever we ask her to do with hardly any complaining. she can remember the lyrics to just about any song you have ever heard and can remember the tune, who sings it , name, what commercials it is on...

Jillo is nearing the end of her first year. What a joy she has been. She really has been such a good baby. Lately she has turned super naughty though. She can empty a drawer or cupboard in 3 seconds. Turn your back and you are toast. She loves playing in the cupboard that stores our printer. Just don't shut the door on her.

Tito's Spatacular Birthday Bash

Tonight is Emily's 10th birthday blowout. We had a spa event. Boy what an event. I made little make up bags for the ten girls. Bath fizzies, lip gloss, pedicures, parafin treatments, facials, ding dong ditching, tp'n, you name it we pretty much did it. I was so excited to use may giant cupcake pan. I used the Williams-Sonoma recipe that came with it. GAG ME. It was so cute, but so nasty to eat. The girls weren't afraid to let me know that it was pretty much disgusting. Got to admire their honesty. Now off to bed for me, I have wax to scrap off of every surface of my home in the morning. More pictures later.

Birthday Fun

For my birthday Chris took our family and Gramma to Ruby's on the Balboa Pier. What a perfect birthday present. They have changed the play equipment and now have this fab rope

climbing thing. They kids had a blast. I even taught them how to do the spider swing. It did make me sick because I can't go on swings, but they had a blast. Thank you sweetie for such a wonderful birthday and for not throwing me a giant party. I love you!

The.Best.Saturday.Ever.EVER!

Did the title of this post sink in yet? If not, let me restate that this particular Saturday (July 12, 2008) was the best Saturday of all time. Period. Brace yourself...

EVENT #1: Our daughter Allison was chosen to be on a TV show on Nick Jr. Today was the shoot. Costumes, hair, makeup, lights, cameras, dancing, waving, riding, voice-overs, etc. Allison was an angel. No, really, she was. It was a blast from start to finish. Quite obviously, we shot thousands of photos but were asked by the producers not to post them online until after the program had aired. I know what you're thinking, "So what, let's see those photos!" The answer is no. We will let you know when the show is going to air when we find out ourselves.

EVENT #2: The World Outdoor Racquetball Championships (WOR) were taking place in Huntington Beach. Top WOR competitors also play indoor racquetball (what Chris is addicted to). Our family witnessed Chris' heroes (the masters) live in action. Legends of the game were there - Carson, Hogan, Gonzalez, etc. - battling it out for #1. So killer!

EVENT #3: Huntington Beach. Sun, sand, very nice breeze, warm water, great pier. Perfect end to an incredible day. Hadn't been there in years. Loved it. Would consider marrying it.

I could go on and on about how fun AND funny the Aquabats TV pilot was that we watched when we got home, but that would be overkill. How could tomorrow ever follow today?

I like to think of myself as a pretty humane person. I love my dog. Not to the point of dressing him in clothes and taking him everywhere with me, but I do let him sleep in my bed. I have a soft spot for almost all of God's creatures. At least I used to. I am slowly becoming hardened.

It all started with the mice that decided to crawl into our garage and make it their own fabric and food laden palace. I emptied the garage, cleaned everything, put things in plastic containers, hoping to avoid having to use traps to get rid of the little guys. It didn't work. So I purchased the little sticky traps with anesthesia so it would lull the little guys to sleep so they wouldn't suffer. The dog got them stuck to him, the mice would walk off with them stuck to their backs. They would squeal when you went to toss it in the trash. It was to hard on me. They were tiny and kind of cute. Chris kept telling me not to feel bad. They invaded us. I sucked it up, got more traps. That worked for a while. No more mice sightings. Rex isn't running scared into the house. Well, I guess it worked to well. Now we have a stinky problem. It seems that the little guys must have had more little guys and now they died in my wall and my whole downstairs stinks. Its nasty. Instead of pictures, I have those little air fresheners stuck to my walls. Its suppose to get real warm this weekend.

Next pest to invade Casa de Kendig is the stupid little ants. I don't think that they would bother me so much if they were regular size, but they are so mini. I spray them with glass cleaner, I sprinkle baking soda over their tracks, nothing is working. They just march over their dead comrade's bodies and around the baking soda. Finally, today I gave up and bought bug spray. We will see what happens.

Allie is finally earning her keep! A friend of ours does the design work for these patterns and she had Allie come be the model. So Cute! The lady that designed the apron has a ton of cute patterns. You can find them at quilt stores and I think that you can order them through her website theapronlady.com. Check them out. Her patterns are really easy to understand and use. Plus she is a really nice lady. ( i ran into her once at a fabric store)

Lock up your children

Yesterday we where in Hollywood having a ab fab time shopping. We went to this little store that Chris loves called Posers. They lady that owns it is always so nice to the kids. Well she decided to give Jills a present. She pulls off the shelf the cutest little pair of TUK kitty cat mary janes. We tried to get Allie to try these on last summer but she refused. Now she wants them because the lady gave them to Jill. While Chris was inside chatting with the people I went out with the kids. This group of guys and a dog walk by. They come up to another guy with a dog and one guy that looks like Andy Dick slaps the other dog. So I say to Chris, "that crazy man looks like Andy Dick." A few minutes later we were waiting for the light to change to cross the street and the group of men with the dog wanders up to us and it really was Andy Dick. He was really, really, drunk, but yet still funny. He kept talking to the kids and then telling us, "I have kids." We wanted to stay and talk to him but our kids were yelling that light changed. When we got to the other side we were trying to tell them who he was. When they found out that he is the voice for some bunny on a movie they like they were sad.

Our little Jillo has become mobile. It is both a blessing and a curse. She gets so excited to discover new places. She loves following us around. She also has discovered the dog's food and has decided that lamb and rice kibble is tasty. We have discovered her stuck in many different places. Mostly under the table and piano bench.

Our TiTo, also know as THEE MIGHTY T, is a champ my friends. That is right, her team the OC CRUSH, won the 9U soccer championship!!! Chris is so excited to finally have a champion in our housel. Her team beat the OC United 3-1 in an awesome game. Victory was made even sweeter by the fact that Emily used to play for United's coach. She even used shark bite against them!!!

Thomas the Homerun King

Thomas has really been doing awesome in baseball lately. He plays for the Angels and has such a great coach. Friday, their coach took the whole team to see an Angels game. We thought it was funny because we didn't send Thomas with any money to buy souvenirs. Well he comes home with a little bat and $15. Our friends sent their son with $20 and a mitt and he came home empty handed. We later found out that the coach thought that our friend's money was Thomas'. Yesterday at his game Thomas was a hitting machine. He finally has gotten his timing right on his swing. He hit a homerun out to center field. It was so awesome. Luckily grandma was walking up right when it happened so she got to witness it.

Last weekend Grandma Koral, Jennie and all of the boys were suppose to come down for spring break. When they were driving down they hit a patch of black ice and spun around and hit the guard rail and "smashed the suburban all to heck." We were sad but they were all okay. Grandma got a new car and they are on their way down today! We went down to San Diego to see Aunt Kellyn and Uncle Chip. We went to La Jolla and Birch Aquarium. Emily is studying missions and so we went to the San Diego Mission.

The kids have been saying the best things lately. I keep telling myself that I need to write them down.

Thomas' class is having a multi-cultural day on Friday and they are suppose to bring some sort of food item in to share. He was asking me what a culture was. I told him it was the country where your family comes from. He said, "Well, we are from Fullerton." Awesome. So what food do we get to bring?

Allie has been so excited to for Easter. Every night she asks if she can get her "Easter Bag" down for the easter bunny. I think she is getting Halloween confused with Easter.

Tonight we had the honor and pleasure of spending the evening with Chris' Grandma June and several aunts and uncles from the Kendig Family. It is Grandma June's 90th birthday tomorrow. She looks really good for 90. We also learned how to make millions with various different strategies for casino games from Uncle Frank. All in all it was a super night of birthday fun!

Weekend at Auntie Belva's

Saturday we spent the day at Russ and Auntie Belva's fabulous Palm Springs house. Every spring Aunt Belva comes from Washington D.C. to spend a couple of weeks in SoCal. She has all of the Borgquist clan over for a day of swimming and eating. It is always such a fun time. We love seeing all of the cousins especially her daughters and their families that we don't get to see as often as we would like. We love you guys!

Emily got a portable dvd player for Christmas and Allie has decided that it really was meant to be her gift. Lately she has been watching the Lizard of Boz (Wizard of Oz). The only problem is it scares her. She ends up in our bed. First thing in the morning she is back watching it. She says that I can watch it with her, but it will scare me. Probably true.

I love it when we have late church. We can take our own sweet time getting ready. I make breakfast for the family. This past Sunday I got up before the kids to make orange rolls for them. It was a chilly morning and I imagined them waking up to the smell of bacon and orange rolls. Everyone was going to be in such a good mood. Well one by one my little sweeties started to roll out of bed. One by one I heard, " I don't like orange rolls." "I don't like cream cheese frosting." "These aren't as good as Cinnabon." And they wonder why they get Eggos for breakfast most of the time.

Our town has a little Christmas celebration on Main Street. Our Bishop has his office there and every year has pictures with Santa in front. The line is always really long. This year our YM/YW were selling mistletoe and Sees candy. Emily and Thomas started going around with our friend's little boy selling mistletoe while we waited in line. They did pretty good. I don't know if it was because people felt sorry for the six years wandering alone selling things or if they really wanted the mistletoe.

Our little Jills (Allie's nickname for her) is two months old. I am a week late in posting it. She is such a sweet baby. She is more than a bit spoiled though. She has started to smile and coo. She is such a good sleeper, most nights. She is a big chunk. We can't believe how chubby she is. We wouldn't have it any other way.

Well our little Thomas finally made it to 6. He had a fabulous party with some of his friends. We got to celebrate again on his real birthday the day after Thanksgiving. Poor kid is never going to have a real birthday cake because his birthday is always too close to Thanksgiving. Usually it is pumpkin pie. i had to find a flip flop image for YW and i started going through the digital scrapbooking sites and now i am hooked. i was already fighting an addiction to Photoshop. this just adds to it. there are so many cute things out there, lots of free kits. its way better than regular scrapping because there is no mess. (except for my house)

Three Weeks Old

Our little Jillian is three weeks old today. I can't believe how fast that went. She is still pretty much just eating and sleeping. We are getting smiles from her when she is asleep. Probably dreaming about eating. She is an angel baby and we are so blessed to have her in our family.

Thursdays are the worst day of the week for us. Not only do I have to pick up Emily and Thomas from school at seperate times, Emily has piano at 2:30 (school gets out for her at 2:07), both her and Thomas have soccer. So basically I leave the house at 1:30 and don't return until 3:15 and then back out the door for soccer.

Yesterday was a typical Thursday. Jillian was taking a super long nap. I fed her around 11:00 and she didn't wake up before I went to pick up Emily. As I was dropping Emily off at piano Jillian started screaming. She was really hungry. I had just enough time to feed her at school as I waited for Thomas. I park the car at school and get her out of the carseat and she has messy pants. So I lay her on my lap and start to change her. Thats when I discovered I didn't have any wipes. No big deal, a little poo, I'll just use this napkin and clean her up. As I was reaching for the clean diaper it happened. Poo spraying everywhere. Like a firehose. It was absolutely everywhere. My purse was covered, the steering wheel, the center console, the new magazine I was looking forward to reading, my arms up to the elbows (don't ask me how both arms got it), Jillian's clothes, ears, chin. It was the biggest mess ever. I had to call Sue to come get Thomas. When we finally got home, after first getting Emily from piano, I opened up my purse and some how it was inside. How can something so small make such a gigantic mess? Covering her face in shame

Our little Jillian has been jaundiced as we expected. When I took her in to have her blood checked yesterday her count was up above 12 so we had to take to the hospital today to have her blood checked again. Lucky for us she loves to eat and is flushing the nasty stuff out. So today her count was going back down. I am so glad we don't have to take her back and to the light treatment.

Jillian Louisa Kendig entered the world on Friday, September 21, at 9:15 am. She weighed 7lbs 12 oz and is 21 1/2 inches long. She was 2 1/2 weeks early, but other than being a little jaundiced like her brother and sister Allie, she is doing very well. She sleeps all of the time and enjoys eating and opening one eye. We have yet to hear her cry. She does like to make little squeeking sounds. Emily, Thomas and Allie are all absolutely in love with her. Rex isn't quite sure what to make of her. We all think that she looks exactly like Emily did except she doesn't have a head full of black hair like Emily. We are all doing well and are excited to have another tiny at our house.

Emily's 9th Birthday

Sunday was Emily's birthday. We actually celebrated on Saturday because Nate and Mina's family were here and they left early Sunday. We spent all day swimming and eating and having a good time. Matt and Brooke came with their kids and of course it was at Grandma and Grandpa's house. It wouldn't be a birthday party if it wasn't there. It was only 103' on Saturday. Nothing compared to the 110' Monday. Too hot, especially when you are 9 months pregnant.

The kids had a blast trying to break open the pinata. Those things are made of steel. Note that Allie had her life jacket on the entire time. You never can be too safe.

First Day of School!!!

Tuesday was the first day of school for Emily and Thomas. Em is in the 4th grade and has an awesome teacher, Mr. Sanders. There are 38 kids in her class. I guess that it is against the law (as it should be) so they are going to be moving some kids around. Thomas is in kindergarten. He has been so good. I thought that he would have a hard time leaving his mama but it has been quite the opposite. He doesn't even look back. Allie is loving having mom all to herself. She starts school on Monday. Hopefully everything goes well for her.
